It NEVER rains in CA
 

As the old saying goes, it never rains in California but right now it is pouring !! We have had unusual thunder and lightning since midnight.

Good news, right? California needs the rain!

Hopefully it is raining where the fires are too!

Plus thunder and lightening.

Send some to nor cal, we aren't getting any rain, but at least its been cooler...

Maniac - where are you? Here in Escondido we've had TONS of thunder, but looking out now I see blue skies. Sent the rain this way!

Thanks for listening, the rain just got here! Yay! We need the rain, PLUS it's an excuse to stay inside and sew. I call that a WIN/WIN!

They say that about Arizona also but we have been sharing in the rain department. If only there was a happy medium of lighter rain for a longer period instead of short lived cloudbursts that dump a ton of rain all at once. For us the nice part is the desert smells so fresh and clean after a rain. The bad part is that rain here is always accompanied by tunder, lightening, and strong winds!

Wish it was raining here. It only rained here twice this year for about 10 minutes each time.

We in South Carolina have been hit hard with RAIN and HAIL this summer.

I am waiting at present for a new roof from Hail damage.

My Sister's entire bathroom ceiling collapsed from leak - mine inside is only minor.

We sure do need some rain up here in the Bay Area. It is dry, dry, dry. We can't water our lawns unless it's reclaimed water.

I hear all this talk about rain. Could someone please tell me what that is? Supposedly water falls out of the sky. Is that true? Never see that here in Huntington Beach. I'll keep looking for it.

We get wetter when a flock of weak bladdered birds fly over than what we've had for awhile.

No rain here in the bay area. Sure wish it would rain so the grass and plants would turn green again.

I love the sound and smell of a rain

It seemed like it poured but inland North County only got about .01 inches! Other areas that got alot more really flooded because the ground was to dry to take it all in.

I live South of Riverside & we also had rain but no thunder or lighting. Sure wish we could get some more rain tho.

I grew up in Germany and when I was a kid, I actually believed that song to be true.
