Maybe she is what the excercise police ordered up for you. Daily walks - not to fast. Fresh air and a companion for you and your other dog. Enjoy her while you can.
I've only adopted a cat and he runs the house. |
I would love to be able to walk with her. I can do sloooowww walks with my little guy. Any faster and they will be calling 911 for me.:-) My body just can't take it.
I am enjoying her. She will not stay however any longer than it takes to find her a home. I am on a 1 foster at a time diet. Brothers house , Brothers rules. (shrug) Andy and I walk every day the weather allows. We have a park 2 blocks from the house. The longer she is here the more I am learning about her and the sorrier I feel for her. Anything in the hand and she is ducking and going the other way. Touch her and she leans away. Poor thing. Lots of work for this one. Forget getting any kind of meds on her she bites. And she has an ear infection. Poor thing. |
What a great thing to do! You are very sweet :-D

I too foster and enjoy my "rentals" (as we like to call them). As a military family, we feel it's best for us to only give lifetime commitments to 2 pets max. So fostering is a way for me to get my "pet fix" and take in more pets without the expense (like you said) and moving hassles every 2-3 years. Best of luck with your new little one. I'm sure you'll gain her trust soon. |
What a sweetie. Hope you find her a good home.

We got to the point in GA that we were very wary of adopting to military familys simple because it was like they wanted to adopt for a while and then give them back when they moved. |
very cute.
