I'm past Firefox, am on to Google chrome. My techie daughter has talked me into it. Supposed to be much faster surfing. I'll let you know how it is.

Yes, windows 7 was a learning experience. Still not entirely comfortable with it. :)

There is a learning curve.

What I find difficult is that I now have Windows 7 at home and use Windows2000 and XP at work.

Talk about being confused :(

I am very happy with my XP, and no desire to change, but I did download Google Chrome the other day and I like it a lot - especially as with a net book, Internet Explorer used to take up a third of my screen - now I have more available space to look at!

there are a couple of things i'm not keen on with win7. most importantly, win7 has a lot of 'ghosting'... seeing objects through another object. these are not crisp lines and are difficult for me to see. also, i like to be able to play a quick game of hearts while waiting for commercials to end, for instance. the new hearts is definitely not as fast and it's hard for me to see the difference between the hearts and spades. the 'young' folks who develop software, do not keep in mind those with poorer vision. the win7 is on my laptop, but i still have XP on my desktop.

i will bet you are! i loved XP..but when i went from win 95 then win 98 then XP..i hated each move!
i had been having problems with my old laptop for months..the "A" and "S" were hardly working...then my furbaby spilled a pepsi on the key board..SIL has it, and trying to get the hard drive back so i can transfer info to my new laptop. i sure hope he can..all my favorites are gone, patterns..address' etc. bummer.

Just got a new hard drive last week with Windows 7 on it. I even moved all my stuff from XP over to 7 ALL BY MYSELF. I am getting used to it now and am finding I like it much better than XP. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?!?!? I just turned 70; told my DD that I can read and follow directions, so how hard can it be!?!?!

It is a big change, I frustrated for a few weeks, I still have XP on my desktop

Windows 7 I could live with the change, but the new Microsoft Word is driving me nuts!! They moved everything around on me.

I have XP at the office, Vista on my dektop and Windows 7 on my laptop. Can get very confusing. I like Xp but overall I prefer the 64bit Vista. I do not care for Mozilla - too many bugs for me.
