This thread is so hilarious!! Not the topic, but a lot of the comments. Can you imagine if we all went out showing off our boobs or butts??? The young ones would be grossed out and not realize it goes both ways lol
I haven't seen anyone out in pajamas or robes. I guess I've been in the house too much hahahaha :D

One time my neighbor, recovering from surgery went to the mailbox with his pj's and a robe, completely decent and understandable. Well, this witch who has sinced moved (thank God) called the police on him. The police were so tired of her and had her number. They did not bother to ticket the professor in his robe.
We currently are w/o a nosy neighbor on patrol and are all happy :D:D:D:D

I won't leave the house without shower, contacts, make up, etc. I grew up poor and never had much and I want to make sure my self esteem issues cannot be conveyed to the public.

My dd has worn pjs to the store. I laughed at her. It was college time- she no longer does it and frowns on others.

My personal beef- MUFFIN TOP!!! For God's sake girls- fat does not look good hanging over too tight jeans. Buy the jeans to fit or go on a diet.

Stepping off my soapbox now.

may be --depressed -grieving - in the throes of a breakdown just cold--to quick to judge sometimes!!

And here I was raised to believe that actually going out in public with curlers on was making you on the fast track to being kinda trashy. =Okay, I'll admit that at that time a lot of women put their hair "up" rolled on empty beer cans!!
Now its anything goes, everything shows, and most of it isn't fit for being seen.

Thank you all! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I did think of the depression angle but it doesn't fit. I could possibly have stretched it if she had been at a drug store but still.....there's a time and a place for everything. As for the underware advertisements, the tight, and the revealing clothes I think their mirrors are lying to them. Oh well just wait till the next generation comes along and those very same people will be the ones saying "what are they thinking?"

I, too, think that it is disgusting how people dress. if they could only see themselves as we do maybe they would change their ways.
