Watching Sewing with Nancy -- she's teaching decorative stitching. She points out that the woman doing the design is using a black thread on the back and it WILL occasionally show thru on the white front. She calls it "Decorative and giving the piece texture".....And here I thought if that happened on my quilts I'd made a boo-boo!!!! Nope, it's decorative and texture...

I think it's all just a matter of what you can deal with. If you can't stand the look it's called *%#@!. If it's not perfect but OK with you it's decorative and added texture. :)

Yeah, where did this come from? I'm guessing it means using the ole seam ripper but where does the frog come into it?
