The New Quilting Board
 

I just wanted to say I was one of those kicking and screaming that the Board had to change, didn't want it too. I don't like change... but now after playing around with it and checking everything out and getting use to it... I love it.

I agree:) I love the quilt of the week feature (on the main page on the right side) and the Archive feature (at the bottom of the page).

yep! the more you use it and play with it, the better it gets!

Yep. I agree. I haven't had time to mess with the new QB much until this week. I'm much more comfortable with it now, although there is still plenty more to learn.

It wasn't all that hard for me, I just read and poked around. I'm no young chicken either.

I've loved the changes since the very beginning. I find this format much more user friendly. It's easy to access and communicate.

Let us hope that many more continue to explore!

I'm getting used to it. Not as bad as it seemed at first.

It may in the end be a better format- I do love the catagory divisions. But my reluctance to change and explore have sent me from my addiction to the board back to my addiction to quilting. I've gotten so much done since this format change! Still hoping to finish a bunch of UFOs and maybe I'll learn to reduce my photos and share them someday!

It was a matter of re-training the brain. There are many positives to the new QB. Still think we lost many of the regulars when the format changed. Here's hoping they'll come back in 2012.

I am getting used to the new look also and don't find it as bad as I thought at first. Am I missing something because I can't find the "quilt of the week feature (on the main page on the right side)". Please explain how to find. Thanks

I wouldn't say I love it, but, for a free board, it is perfectly acceptable.

I have to agree. I was one of the ones that definitely didn't like the new board, and would still prefer the old board, but I am starting to get used to at least some of the stuff. I haven't posted a picture yet and still not sure how, but when the time comes, I hope to be able to do that. Happy New Year everyone. Have a blessed yea.!!

Agree, easier and faster all the time to find my favorite spots. Changed internet search engines and now I speed along everywhere!

I'm still not comfortable with the new format, but I am on every day, trying to get better.

I like it now. Just have to accept the change.

I think it's faster and easier on the eyes. I spend about the same amount of time here as before, so I still 'waste' too much time!

I'm still struggling everytime I get on. Granted, I haven't had as much time lately to peruse or puruse??? the new b board but I think I'm learning a little each time i get on. I'll keep working at it.
