A new Teddybear!!!
2 Attachment(s)
Formerly I made many many teddybears untill my shoulders said: no.... no longer stuffing these little bears because it's hard work.... In the beginning of teddybear making the stuffing was a job only for men!!!
But from time to time I can't resist and so I made this little bear for a good friend of mine!! He is about 35 cms high, his shirt is called over here "Fisher Shirt", because fishermen were wearing such shirts!! |
Oh, my! He's just adorable. You do beautiful work.
Thanks for posting your blog site. My (grown) DD's childhood bear needs a new face (thanks to her puppy). I'm going to attempt repair, and now I have your photos to help. I wasn't sure what shape to cut for the face, but I can see it now. :o) |
Oh how cute! You are very good at making Teddy's!!
|
Your work is excellent! What a cute Teddy (and cute clothes, too).
|

I too formerly made Teddy Bears as my hobby. I love yours-well done. I have pain in my thumbs that has caused me to quit making them. I would not even be able to make one as small as yours, I usually make bears 13" and larger as it is easier to sew and turn them. Love to give them their face as it makes them actully come to life. I rarely dress them other than a bow or ribbon. These are the last 2 bears that I made for the girlfriends of my 2 sons.

Very handsome! Nice work. Love his clothes too. I have teddy bear buddies. The girls are clothed. The boys, not so much.
|
Wow all the bears shown here are wonderful. I've always wanted to make one but haven't yet.
|
Your Teddy is absolutely adorable. My weakness is a Teddybear with personality. Yours fit the criteria.
Here's a virtual hug for him ((((((((((((()))))))))))))))! |
Looks like a great cuddly teddy..& I love his shirt!!
|
Sweet.........
|
Gorgeous....so much work and so well done.
|
Those teddy bears are darling. I just purchased some fuzzy material and I was wondering what to do with it. What a great idea. You ladies are all so creative. I get so much inspiration from this board. Thanks for sharing.

Hello, your teddybears look sooo nice!!! I love them!!! Cute little fellows!!!
|
He is precious, you really gave him a wonderful personality. My sister used to make bears too, she did a fabulous job and her husband who is now a retired police officer did the cotter pins for their arms and legs. She too gave it up because her shoulders couldn't take it any longer, at the time she was working, a radiation therapist, and between the two she really suffered. Love your little guy.

What a cute teddy all dressed up. Beautiful work - love him.
