Am looking for anyone who has bought a sewing machine with a 220V and how they converted it to 110V.
i've never heard of a sewing machine being 220v
It was made in England. It is a Featherweight in beautiful condition and I know it can be fixed to work on 110V, I am just not sure where to begin looking and what am I looking for.
there is a yahoo group just for featherweights you can join and check there . can get a lot of info on that group
Couldn't you just purchase a converter? I had to buy one for my son when he traveled to Japan and they weren't very expensive. I think I bought it at Radio Shack.
LIke the avatar. I had several people send me that. Start your day w/o coffee? yeah pretty much.
I was also going to suggest a converter.
