I put my back scratcher on the arm of my chair and my rescue cat has a ball scratching herself all by herself, starting with her face and neck.

I have a grabber and love it for reaching items on a top shelf or behind a shelf on the floor. I've also seen kid type grabbers.

Medical supply places have long handled " grabbers". Great for getting stuff from back in the corner when the old back won't bend..
