new use for quilt rack

At least its new to me! I found two quilt racks at salvation army and now hang my sweaters on them. I don't have a lot of closet shelves and I hate the wrinkled look that comes with jamming them in or the huge shoulders from hanging them. This lets me see them instead of just grabbing the top one all the time and keeps them looking good.

Good for newspapers too. Remember them?

Saw this the other day and thought that would be a good way to hang them. Now to find my sweaters. I think I still have a couple somewhere. http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/...-sweaters.html

Had to laugh at my DGD but it's a great idea. She got a folding dry rack. Put couple of those pool (split) tubes on it. She says she's living on the cheap. She hand washes her sweaters in the tub then let's them dry on the tubes on the rack. She says "Grandma, how's that for saving money?" Got to love it. Didn't tell her many ladies did that with their undergarments and niceys. But I won't take that from and the pool tube idea sounded good to me. no more creases when drying.

That is a great idea to recycle an item that fills a need for you.
