the first day of the new year will be 1.01.11
and 11 days later it will be 1.11.11
and then in November we'll have 11.11.11

Isn't 11/11 a day? Like veterans day or something? So, 1111 (in military time) or 11:11 regular time, 1/11/11, will be even more interesting!?
