Going on a RV trip for 2 weeks and I've decided not to take any quilting stuff! I'm scared. I figured I need to do other things, like reading, reading is important but I seem to choose it last on my things to do, (we quilters never have enough time to do other things). So for my entertainment I am taking 3 books. They are by the author Jennifer Chiaverini and they are all quilt themed books. I can't be expected to go cold turkey all at once ,can I? Plus I'll have my laptop to look you guys up and see what is going on.

Yikes!! Good luck. Let us know how bad the withdrawal symptoms get. Oh and enjoy your trip.

Gee...I couldn't stand that. I'd at least take some hand projects. Maybe a good time to start a Grandmother's Garden? Or even some yoyos?

Heck, if you're driving around in an RV, there's LOTS of room for fabric!
Just think of what you can buy along the way! |
Have fun!

Have fun on your trip. With your computer you can keep in touch. I always take a hand project with me.

Take some hand work (just in case)---that's what I would do.....
Of course, I get some of my "best" work riding in the car--embroidery, applique, etc..... Itchin' to Stitch AKA Joan |
Sit back, relax, enjoy your vacation. It's a vacation after all. One thing we forget to do is to just do nothing. Yes, nothing. It is ok to be alone with your thoughts, take a walk and take in nature, observe even the little things around you. Read if you want, do some birdwatching, learn about the trees around you, the wildflowers(if any), study insects, you get the picture. Why do we alway's feel like we have to be doing something? Relax.

Heck, I am going on vacation for one week and I won't have access to the Board the entire time! Now there is some serious withdrawal!!
