I have been very busy, spring cleaning and painting. But today I get to sew! I found lace fabric at Walmart for $2 yd and am going to make new curtains for my laundry room. New paint, new curtains, clean room (no dust bunnies anywhere)....what next? Oh yeah, moving on to the next room :cry: At least it's the sewing room, or will be when I get done.

Wish I was that motivated but I can't get past quilting.

Doesn't it feel great. Sometimes if I get into a slump I will do some good old fashion spring cleaning, even if its in the dead of winter...lol

We all got together a couple of weeks ago and did my MILs house. More fun that way. Ordered Pizza in for lunch and had a good time visiting while we worked. We do it every spring before Memorial day and every fall before Halloween.

I'm in a similar boat. I actually have the day off from work - first day off in a long time that isn't a holiday. If I can get the cleaning and "unfun" stuff done early, I can sew in the afternoon. I better get off here...well, just a few more minutes...

I kind of like doing a good cleaning. Nothing makes me feel like sewing more than a nice clean house. And if I do my sewing room...watch out! I could be in there for days. :)
