do your pets make noise while resting? my cat not only snores, but makes funny little dreamy sounds while napping that sound a little too much like people...it's gettin' eeerrrrie....{of course he also says hello in a meow tone,too, when awake}
how verbal are your pets?

Ours don't while sleeping, but I have one that sounds obscene when he washes himself..........slurp slurp slurp....Cracks me up every time......... :)

My BC is the most meowy cat I know and DD agrees and she has six in house kitty cats.
He sounds just like a baby and acts like nobody ever pays any attention to him!
He is a bit jealous of other kitties, but he is a sweetie to anybody with a petting arm! ;)

One snores when sleeping in my lap, she really can get loud at times. The other will make those funny sounds at times too in his sleep, but does not snore. Though, he does purr real loud at the slightest movement from me or if I get up to go to the bathroom during the night.

The male also will come and beg for food - he meows and sometimes makes short meow sounds almost like a dog barking. My husband can meow back to him and keep him going for quite a while.

one of mine has a mouth 6 times the size of his body, boy does he meow pathetically if no one is paying attention to him.

my Ellie is quiet when she's asleep, but that's the only time! She groans just like me when she moves and keeps up a steady line of chatter when anyone pets her...not purrs, but chatter.

I have 1 out of 5 that talks all the time! Sounds like chirps- she's such a sweetie!

Our biggest kitty, almost 20 lbs. coooos like a pigeon. Its so cute to hear his little coos from this big black kitty!

One of my cats coos like a pigeon when she's purring and swishes her tail while sleeping. Another one slobbers when he wants petted and the 3rd one rolls over and over when he wants attention, but they meow very softly.

We have one that talks to us all the time when she wants attention or outside. It sound like she is saying out when she wants outside and she will gripe at you if you do not let her out.

ONe of my kitties thinks her throat has been cut if the biscuit bowl is empty...and she really yells at you and screws her face up in the process. The other purrs like a chainsaw, and drools at the same time, so when patting him, its always handy to have a tissue to wipe his chin with!

My dogs and my cat burble in their sleep. The cat also does an "urr" and an "eh, eh!"

The urr is the noise he normally makes to announce movements such as "I'm jumping on the table now!" The eh, eh is the noise he makes while watching birds (and twitching his whiskers).

I used to have a cat who growled in her sleep. Sounded just like the Doberman.

Otherwise, my cat just walks around saying, "NO!!!" It's the Siamese.

"Are you a good kitty?"
"NO!!!"
"Do you love me, kitty?"
"NO!!!"
"Is world peace attainable, kitty?"
"NO!!!"

He's pretty smart.

Years ago I had a long haired cat that used to snore. One night he was sleeping on the floor at the foot of the bed and woke me up. Didn't realise how loudly he was snoring until I was asked by the neighbour in the flat above if I had had my friend stay over. The cat had woken her too!
