Back when I was a kid, our family would sit on our front steps and gaze at the Northern Lights (or Aurora Borealis) and oooooooh and ahhhhh as they danced around. You just know that was 'way back in the day since we lived just west of Chicago!

we were able to see them once in georgia. years ago, i was a kid. some sort of atmospheric phenomanon thing. i still remember it, pretty cool.

Seeing them in person is way better than seeing photos.

Last night one of the weather men in San Antonio said that they could be seen as far south as Arkansas last night.

How far north in Nothern MI? I've never seen them either, but I'll check out the sky when the clouds clear.

We only saw them one time in no. Idaho- think of a moving curtain of multicolored light.

I grew up in Minnesota. I remember nights laying on our backs (in the mosquito infested grass!!) looking up at the lit up sky. Beautiful...
