NOT me I use all my stuff. I dont have anything that I save for good. I am not into china and crystal, special linens if I cant use it I dont want it to just store and take up space.

I think there's a difference here that you all aren't seeing. She's not packing it away where you can't SEE what was made....she's DISPLAYING it!!!!!!! I still like the idea... :)

I think it was Leo Buscaglia who said, don't save your nice things for a special occasion, thinking you will pass them down to your kids. Chances are your kids don't want them!! If you like something, use it every day. I have my afternoon tea from a china cup and saucer that was my mom's, I swear it tastes better than in a mug. |
It took me a while, but I finally came to the realization, after years of giving gifts to my DH's family, that once you give something to someone, you must let it go. They may or may not do what you think they should or should not do with it, but it's theirs now and you simply must let it go.
I have much more peace of mind as a result. And it makes me "think" before I "give". Not a bad thing, really! |
Use linens, dishes whatever you have use. Everyday is a special day.
