This is the horse wreath a friend and I made Friday to hang on her door. We have such great feedback that we are going to make a bunch to sell next year! Hope you like it too. We did not have a pattern or directions, just a post on facebook as a guide. I think we did pretty good.

Even upside down that is adorable! If you are in horse county it will sell fast!

Just happen to think it might also go as a reindeer! Add some antlers.

That is damn adorable and I bet you could sell them...my youngest daughter would love it she loves all her pets but her horse is in some ways her best friend.

Great work!

That is just amazing!

This is the best wreath I have seen this season! Love love love it. The boughs that you have used strategically give it movement and dimension. What did you make the harness out of ...a belt?

Geri B 12-17-2014 04:19 AM

My daughter, horse owner, made one similar out of wire clothes hangers........a friend made some with plywood base and sold them at local craft show for $50 each.....and they did sell out!

The halter is a 1/2" scrap of faux leather with a tooled leather texture. The medalion on it is a beaded piece my mother made years ago. I knew I would find the perfect use for it someday. This was perfect. BTW- can't reverse the picture not sure why it is reversed for some of you. Appears right side up to me.

What a unique and well designed wreath!

caspharm 12-17-2014 01:08 PM

It's very clever.

Material Witness 12-17-2014 04:17 PM

Yes, you did do a good job. I imagine you'll be able to sell quite a few of them.

Great job. My granddaughter saw the one on Facebook and she loved it too.
