To everyone - I am so humbled that you like these hats. Although I am teaching myself how to knit keyhole lace scarves, these particular hats do NOT have a pattern. They were done with the Nifty Knitter and the pattern came with the booklet in the knitter package. Currently - 12/18, I am 3,000 miles from my CA home in Florida visiting my mom and looking ALL over for boa eyelash yarn with little luck, by the way. This yarn was a fad a year ago, but now cannot be found in any San Jose store except one. Will be going to NJ on 12/22 and will keep looking in cold country. Upon my return to CA on 12/31, I will post further updates. I cannot really quote generic pricing until I can find more yarn - eBay has quite a bit but I don't always win the bid and the shipping can be outrageous. Still, I hope to be able to start selling these in January, when I will list them in the classified section. Please stay tuned and a Merry Christmas to ALL on Board. LOL.

SharonAnne. Look for "Fun Fur". It's the same, I think. Have a wonder ful time...(You might try a Wal Mart if you are near one)

I would love to make my own, any chance of getting the pattern? If you saw my stash of yarn, you would understand!!

I have made some with fun fur (the black/white one is fun fur), but the blue one is eyelash. I'll be making both for sale on Classifieds after the first of the year.. Thanks for your suggestion and have a lovely holiday season. SharonAnne

I love to knit!!!

LOL. Me, too. Necessity is the mother of invention, though. HAD to get "something" done in time and that was the only way. Better than washing it in hot water, huh? As it was, my DD and my DS will have to wait for theirs and I'm just finishing a wall hanging for DGD just in time to fly back East tomorrow through 12/30. Have a Merry Christmas and I'll be experiencing similar weather to yours this year!! 1st time in eons. Very excited.

Have a great trip!! Seems to me you're from my neck of the woods- Utica.
Pretty snowy here in Columbus today!!

Yep, from Sherrill, NY by Turning Stone Casino. My mom worked for years at Utica Mutual Insurance. Merry Christmas to you and your family and thanks for your kind words.

You can order it from Lion Brand Yarn. With shipping it is a bit expensive tho.
