I have a pair of black slacks that I bought to wear as 'good' slacks. They are 60% cotton, 40% polyester. No matter what I do, these slacks attract fuzz and hair like nothing I've ever seen. I've tried fabric softeners, dryer, line drying and nothing makes any difference. They come out of the dryer with fuzz and hair. I use a tape roller, and have to take it with me in the car. By the time I reach where I'm going, these slacks have sucked up any possible piece of lint or fuzz in the atmosphere. I wore them to dinner on Thanksgiving, the napkins were black, and I STILL had visible fuzz from the napkins! Is there any hope, or should I just toss them out?

Maybe try some of the spray that keeps the static out of clothes? Some fabrics just seem to be statically charged lol and that causes them to pick up any unwanted fuzz/hair within a mile.

Try a light spray of hairspray. Let it dry thoroughly before you put them on. Used to work for me!

Try Static-guard (near laundry products). I have a black and white dog: black hair gets on white clothes, white hair gets on black clothes. Spray the well and stuff doesn't stick as much and if it does, brushes off easier. I found if I spray my dark navy rug before I vacuum it gets the dog hair off easier. (What was I thinking: a navy blue rug??!!)
