She won't do anything if she can't do it perfect. Everything she does is perfect, to me anyway. I tried and tried to get her to loosen up but she is who she is. I found out that she has the same birthday as Sharon Schamber!   If only she would start quilting........... ;)

LOL!!!!! Just let her rub and cuddle on you, and hope it rubs off!! Not that you don't already do perfect work! Apples, trees, you know!

I try to do some things perfectly, I do all I can think of and it doesn't work. It never rubbed off on Hubby or our 3 kids.

My mother tried to get me into quilting for a long time before I started, I had always made clothing and crochet items. Boy when I did get started, she and I had a ball. My GD is a perfectionist, and in ways it sure does make her miserable. When she starts a task, if she doesn't do it perfect she will not finish it or tackle it again, she's been this way since she started school, she has overcome some of it since she has grown up (first year of college).
