Oneyard Apron

has anybody seen this pattern somewhere? I"m assuming it would be a free one.
a friend wants me to make her one and so far I'd call it a one yard apron. slips over head with cross bar of fabric in back to hold the shoulder straps in place. cute. i can probably make it but it'd be faster with a pattern. |
I have a pattern for one similar... but it velcro's in the back...

how cute is that.

This looks cute, quick and easy!

I've never seen one like it but I like it. Hope someone posts a link for you and maybe I'll see it too. :)
|
I would also be interested if a free pattern turned up. we cook and serve meals at the mission and there is always someone needing an apron. I could make up a few for spares. now, how to I find this thread later to see if a link shows up? I never did figure that out. I admit to being computer lame lol

well i made another one. better this time but i made the straps longer which was a mistake. had to shorten them again. I even used the triangle i cut out, for the area under the arms, and made it into a pocket.

Both of yours are very cute!!!

I like that apron. I would like the pattern also. Thanks in advance.

I'd love to have that pattern. I know just the ones that would love to have it. Please let me know if you find the pattern.
Thanks so much. |
haven't seen that one for free

This apron is so cute :)

This one is similar, and if the purpose is to eliminate stress on the neck, this would be a great pattern. http://tipnut.com/56-free-apron-patterns-you-can-make/
The apron starts the 12th picture down. The link from that article to a free pattern is here: http://tipnut.com/56-free-apron-patterns-you-can-make/ |
I saw one like that but it was called a pillowcase apron; it was made from a king size pillowcase; but don't remember where I saw it.
