My laptop is now acting GOOGY...

On this site things like the Joann's coupon is popping up (flickering like)
all over the place (not where it should be landed under the topic)
- getting in my way.

It happens on other well known sites too.

Does anyone know if there's something that 'should be clicked' that may not be clicked or visaversa?

I'd hate to have to take the laptop back to where I bought it for help if I can get the annoying problem solved here.

If you're using Internet Explorer, on your toolbar click Tools, then Internet Options, then Privacy, and make sure there is a checkmark in the box to block popups.

In Firefox, you would click Tools, then Options, then Content, and then check the box to block popups.

Sounds like you need to update the Shockwave/Flash program. I use Google Chrome and I'll get a notice at the top of the browser if the program is acting funny or is turned off. I usually keep it off when I'm on here to keep the ads from animation. Right click on any ad and click on ABOUT the program.
