That is a great thing to collect. small item. I also make jewelry. I sew and make alot of items to sell at craft show. As a vendor. The show are getting too expensive and I live in a rural area where I have to travel to go to shows. I have not booked alot since the enconomy has been so bad. If I could I would live in a motor home and just travel and go to shows everywhere. I have a white ez up and sides and grids to hang products on and tables. In the winter the shows are inside and you don't have much room. that is what I do and take care of my 12 yr old grandson full time.

Besides quilting, I make bird baths and patio fountains from terra cotta pots. Seems the quilting has taken over lately though

I collect perfume bottles, Pez containers and frog statues in my yard. I have a frog band that I put out each spring. I love being outside with my flowers in my large yard. I also do genealogy and like to travel. I have a piano and organ but it is very hard to find enough time to play. I do water aerobics three mornings a week, go to quilt guild, small quilt group, dinner and movie every week, read, attend many luncheons, queen of my Red Hat group, play bridge and this fall sat through five hours of 10th & 12th grade football every Friday night to watch both grandsons play. No wonder I don't have time for hours and hours of quilting.

I accidently into collecting Nut Crackers..and when folks saw that I liked them, every birthday, etc, I got Nut Crackers. One of the prettiest is from my dear SIL when stationed in Germany.
Son just gave me a Saluting Soldier Nut Cracker for a New Year's gift. (Strange, HE was Navy!!)
I think I must have between 50 and 55, 3 inch high silver salt/pepper shakers to George, who is almost as tall as I but doesn't weigh quite as much. He's solid wood.
Reading. Making wildly, insanely Victorian doll houses with every different type of styles that existed in the late 1800s. Organic gardening. Sewing and quilting. Now and then I make a piece of furniture, mostly built-ins. I love Victorian excess, but the older I get the more having stuff out of sight pleases me more. Used to back pack but haven't lately, we went on a back packing honeymoon in 1967. Still have my Vibram soles hiking boots that still fit. Starting plants from seeds or cuttings. Volunteering with our local Blood Bank takes up from 1 to 3 or 4 times a week, and that keeps me busy and tired but throughly satisfied!! AND slowly, very slowly de-cluttering with Flylady's instructions running through my mind. Then I'm going to paint my kitchen!!
