Shannon316 05-02-2011 03:55 AM

God bless every soldier that ever served to ensure our freedom! Today's news was a blessing to the world. I know our moderater, Patrice, closed down another thread on this topic (after airing her views, albeit in a round-about way, I might mention), but this is a monumental event in our history and it should not be censored.

My DW woke me last night to tell me that Osma had been Killed in a raid. Im glad that part is over, i feel that they will seek revenge on the rest of the world. I myself feel this because i am a Marine and have the fear of these people, just look at what they have done. For those families who have lost Husbands,Wives, Sons, Daughters, Girl/Boyfriends. I want to thank them for thier Services..

I have very mixed feelings about all of this...I am afraid of what is to come now, I hope this was well thought through so that we and others may be prepared. I think I would have been happier with a 'capture" than a killing of OBL, why was his body already buried at sea....I know that other countries religons /customs are far different than ours but I am surprised it was done already.

running1 05-02-2011 05:41 AM

God bless our soldiers and our allies... God bless America and her allies... I'm so proud of all our soldiers!!

From what I understand, Islam custom is to carry out a speedy burial, which oral and written accounts seem to equate to 24 hours.

WHY would we honor anything related to that man ????? It just seems like it was done too quickly .

You are not the only one. I am so proud of our military and all the military forces from all the countries that are fighting terrorism. God bless them, each and every one. Also to the families of our military, the scarifice that you have endured is appreciated. God bless you too and I hope your loved one is home soon.
