I love Bassets, have had several and lost them early to cancer. None of mine drooled. The last one was a rescue and she attacked my little Morky, had to return her. I love their smell, it's very distinctive, and I just love it.

Congrats! He looks like a winner to me!

Sooo cute! I love all your baby's names!

Handsome boy!
We have a wheatable (wheaten mix), Oh so true! We know when Miya has been in the water bowl! Lol In the 90's I had a huge hound mix "Dufus" what an incredibly smart, sweet guy! He was a true gentle giant. And thank goodness a dry mouth. He was well loved by many. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. |
Very cute puppy. Good luck with integrating him into his new family, but I'm sure it will go fine.

Your new fur baby is adorable. We had a drooling Saint Bernard and once they wing their way to your heart, the drooling doesn't matter.

AWWWWWW....Benny is SOOOOOO Cute. Love Bassets...we had one for 12 years lost her to cancer "Zoeomah" was the sweetest dog you could ever ask for....she seldom barked loved everyone and drooled sometimes.

Very cute. Two of my grand puppies are rescue boxer basset mixes. Bodies are mostly Bassett with the usual feet. Floppy ears and lomg tails but different looking faces. They are adorable.

I'm sure they will get on. I had an eight week puppy which due to hospital changed dates had to go into kennels for 2 days with my other 2 dogs within a week of coming home. The kennels put a camera in the pen they were all in and one big basket. The owner was amazed at how they slept together and let little one eat there food even though she was fed by the kennel staff with puppy food. This bond last forever..
