Overlock stitch & foot
 

After having my sewing machine (Pfaff 2056) for years. I discovered the overlock stitches and foot reading a blog - looking for serger advice.

Put the overlock stitches and foot to work tonight - totally stoked - oh the possibilities! It finishes the edges so wonderfully!

Think I will hold off buying a serger. No doubt useful...just not for me at this time in my sewing journey.

:thumbup: how neat to discover something else useful about your old friend -- I saw here on QB a use for the 3 stitch zigzag at wide settings in quilting to make a wavy line, and my machine is comparably simple!!
