I know I was hoping to get some insight as I am planning a trip either next year or 2017. Someone must have been this year!

Purl, I was there!! Wonderful trip with five of my quilt buddies. The whole town of Paducah participates in the quilt show. It is overwhelming to try to see everything in just a couple of days. None of us signed up for classes so we were free range to see all we could. The winners were presented online with much better photography than I could take with my phone. There are vendors for every imaginable quilt accessory, tools, hangers, machines, etc. The Quilt Week website has great info so you can do some planning ahead. We also took in the Quilt Museum, Quilt In A Day has 3 locations, Hancocks has a huge facility and many small shops with good selections. The best part for me was meeting so many quilters from all over the world. Norway, Spain, England, Ireland, Australia and South American countries were all represented during lunch outside. Great trip and I am still trying to get rested up for the next adventure. Click into Pinterest and search for Paducah Quilts 2015 to see the quilts. Enjoy!!

This was my first year and to say the least, " I was overwhelmed!" The quilts were amazing, vendors were more than I could count and the town was full of surprises. We saw Ricky Tims, Eleanor Burns and Laura Wasilowski just to name a few. I'd post pictures but I don't know how. I can't wait to go again next year.

Couldn't work it into my busy "home bound" schedule this year; but still have my memories foremost in my mind of last year's Paducah trip. (My sisters (three of us who are still fairly mobile) try to make this one of our favorite things to do together every year.) I bought a demo Elna eXpresive 860 for about half price; and saw Ricky Tims' show which were the highlights of my trip--plus we enjoyed the big outdoor lunch/get acquainted lunch mentioned above. If you didn't get to go this year, start planning your trip to go next year. Paducah is booked solid by February of the year the event is held in April. And if I am not too far wrong, they start planning and booking next year's by the end of this year's event.

Went to Paducah and had a great time. Saw so many beautiful quilts and met some very interesting people.it's well worth the trip. I stayed at a B&B. You can find a B&Bs I think through the Chamber of Commerce.but it was a lot of fun meeting the people there. And the food was delicious. Our host also had cake & coffee in the evenings for her guests. spent way too much money on fabric
