DD, SIL and the babies finally moved into an apartment of their own!! And now DH and I are moving back into our old bedroom. But DH wants it painted first. Yuck! I have spent the day procrastinating on painting it. I gave DH two choices of color if I am painting it: white or white, LOL!! We went with white.

I have finally gotten the bottom trim and window trim painted. Sigh. Now if I can convince myself to finish it.

Does anyone like to paint a room? I honestly would be happy just throwing the paint on the wall and letting it drip down. LOL!!! At least DH will do the ceiling. :-D

I love the look of a freshly painted room but I can do without the work and the smell! DH should be in there helping you! At least he is doing the ceiling. That is a lot of work!

I like it!! Well, I don't like the prep and clean-up, but I enjoy the actual painting. I'm about to paint my bedroom and bathroom in the next few weeks.

Maybe we could work out a trade! What do you like to do? Lol.

With the shoulders I have, no painting for me ( except maybe a small amount of trim)

I love to paint! My brother says I am weird! He thinks our mother dropped me on my head! Have fun!

Not really. You do of course have to paint the top of the walls where they meet the ceiling. But with a long handled paint brush
I've painted 2 rooms this year and done it..well, not hard or easy but it got done. Just have to plastic cover everything in there and the floor.

I love to paint rooms...but it HAS to be a color!! NOT WHITE!!!!! White is boring to me...I need colors. I have a guest room and guest bath that's mint green, my sewing room is light yellow, our bedroom and master bath is taupe. I let DH talk me into cream for the hall, living room, dining room, kitchen and breakfast room (they're all visible from each other) I want to paint at least one wall a burnt orange but he's not letting me (partypoop)... :)

I love it! When my sons were little I painted each of their rooms -- oldest in a space theme (I put wallpaper border along the ceiling (never again!) and did the constellations in glow in the dark stars) and youngest in an ocean theme (lots of fish and sailboats stenciled on the walls). I keep trying to talk them into changing their rooms so I can paint again but they won't go for it.

I love to paint walls. Don't really like doing the ceilings unless the room is completely empty. My DH sure likes the fact that I like to paint. Then he doesn't have to. Only problem is that I am always trying to figure out what to paint next. Good luck with your room.

One day I was talking to a neighbor. She told me she was painting. I said "oh, I love to paint." Then proceeded to tell her about painting my bedroom. So after I was done "bragging", she politely informed me she was painting a landscape scene on a canvas. Oh, a different kind of painting---I guess!!! LOL
