That is adorable and made me laugh! Bailey will drive me crazy with the ball when I am sitting at the sewing machine.
Don't we pet owners know that the only reason that we are put on this earth is to feed our loving ones, play ball and rub their tummys?

Kat likes to get up into my lap when I'm at the machine, sit facing me with his back legs splayed out across my lap, lean back against the table with his arms at his sides, and doze while the machine hums.

So funny, my girls all came running to see.. you should have heard the giggles in this house.. hehe

She is a cutie and is just showing you how much she loves you and wants to be a part of what you are doing.

My cat, Bota, does the same thing. He starts out trying to hop onto my lap, which doesn't last long because of my leg moving with foot pedal and swiveling my chair to the iron. His second step is to hop up on the mass of fabric at the left side of my machine, which prevents me from moving it. After moving HIM a couple of times, he resorts to hopping into the same position as your cat...like he's saying "do I have your attention NOW?"

And I thought my cat was bad by sitting on top of my machine when I'm not using it! This really bets them all..... What a sweet heart and it's all about quilting and kitties! :-D

My quilting buddy likes to do the same thing. She tried putting her paw too close to the needle and got whacked by the screw so now she lays with her paw folded under her.
