I've noticed that the bathroom tissue rolls are getting narrower and narrower.

The narrowest that we came across was only 3 1/2 inches wide! I took a piece back with me so I could measure it.

Yikes!

Oh oh, better be careful! Is it for camping?

This was from one of the Interstate rest areas.

I seriously don"t think they save any money that way!!lol

I realized that all the name brands are smaller, anywheres from 1/4 to 1/2 inch. They don't fit the same on the TP holder; lots of the holder showing. Same price, less product. It's happened with ice cream and several items. It's that all important bottom line profit to blame.

It's happening with everything.

That's funny, I've never notice a difference in toilet paper. All I care about is that it's soft.

bearisgray 05-18-2010 02:46 PM

when it's only about three fingers wide - I noticed

Now you have me wounding ... will have to go and check in my bathroom

But with everything else they can say they are not raising the prices, which is true... you just get less

As long as it's wider than however many fingers wide I need to get the job done that is what counts. lol I also don't want sand paper (my mom goes for frugal brand and boy does that chafe) or the super fluffy stuff that leaves lint everywhere.
