My favorite is about how my computer called them. Really what did it say? It never called me, why would it call them? They usually hang up on me at that point - but it is fun to give it back to them. We have gotten the call about the IRS but so far they have only left a message. We reported it to the feds too.

One of my favorite scams is when someone from "Microsoft" is calling because they see problems with my Windows.
I get them to hang up on me when I tell them that I have 42 windows, that I like the double hung ones with the tilt in feature and attached storm windows and screens. Gets them sooooo confused! |

We get those calls every once in awhile. We took the idea from a Member here about these calls. We ask them that the next time my computer calls them. To find out where it is cause it was stolen and I miss it. They then ask if we have talked to the police, I say yes, to the FBI in fact. I tell them that the FBI needs the location so the can send an agent out to pick it up. They hang up on me. Our other favorite is the guy who calls and asks my husband if he can speak to his girlfriend (me). My husband asks why, he tells him he wants to meet to show off his Ferrari. |
