PDF Question
Several blocks I try to download it, I have to use the pdf associated with the site. I never had any trouble using pdfmyurl but it is no longer a free site. When I try to download PDF PRO 100, I get a heads up from my antivirus program (AVG) that it may be malware. Is this definitely safe to use -- I don't want to click on something and then find out I have invited a problem. What do others use ? Thank You

I use Adobe Reader. It's a free program (or was when I got it) and works great.

I second getting your pdf reader from the adobe site. It's free and safe. They are the ones who invented that format.

Yes, adobe is the one I use. I have never had problems with it.
|
You could see if your word processing program can include saving to pdf.
|
I too use adobe and prefer it. However, as SuzzyQ said, you may be able to save it to your documents and then it will open for you.

I've not had much luck with the normal word processing software opening pdf files. But the adobe acrobat reader is free and great software. No virus issues at all.
|
Please use Adobe Reader.....safe and free.

I use the Adobe reader, but don't like the new version. My word processing program will open them too, and I prefer reading them in the WPP.

I have had that same issue with some quilt sites that offer "free patterns". When I try to get to them my anti virus blocks me; no way will it let me get to it. Figure I'm just not supposed to have it - even if it was a gorgeous pattern.
