We raise English bulldogs. When the girls are not bred anymore , we spay them and spoil them. I have one small Bully(40-45 lbs.) I call her Peanut. This morning ,we went out for a short walk to our pond to check on the Koi. There was a huge blue heron fishing in the pond. Breakfast. Peanut started barking ,running back and forth , looking at the crane and then me. The bird flew to the far side of pond and continued to fish, But Peanut was so proud of herself , she had a real attitude. It was so funny. She had successfully saved me from the big,bad bird.

I love bulldogs! I have an Olde English, bigger ones. She is so spoiled!

so sweet! we have a mutt (lab, retriever, collie mix) and she is a sweetheart and protective to from other animals :) sounds like you have yourself a keeper!

Love it!! My girl in the avatar gets really excited, all puffed up with importance, when she is being protective, too.
