I stumbled across a blog post today that one of my friends had posted on Facebook. The contents of this blog post were eye opening, and almost a revelation. This post has deeply impacted me and put into words what I have only felt and been unable to express.

So I want to share the link with you, and I hope that it may touch some of your lives. I don't agree with every single thing this man says, but the core of it is earth shattering..

That is one of the most stunning essays I've ever read.

And it hits right on our society's search for "perfection".

I'll share it with everyone I know. Thank you for sharing this
with us all.

Thank you for posting this. It is an eye-opening lesson for all of us infected with perfection syndrome. Thanks again. :)

I'm with you! He hits the nail on the head and lays out for all of us the need for 'real' instead of 'perfect'. Thanks for giving us the link to his blog.

I read it and it is really something. I know I am not perfect in any way but like most people I have been down on myself and yes others at times.

Whew! I passed the link to my "perfect" friends. Some will read it an respond. Others will read it and wonder why I sent it to them...
