Does anyone know how to get perfume out of clothing, I found some real nice clothes at Goodwill and can't get the smell out of them ? I am one who doesn't use perfume and don't like the smell of it.

Try adding vinegar and/or baking soda to the wash and letting them soak in it for awhile. Hope that helps!!

they sell a special product for getting out odors, can't remember the name but it came in a pink box. Look in the laundry aisle of the store.

After washing, hang them outside in the fresh air and sunshine for a couple days.

I have also found that Febreeze works great for any kind of odors.

Exactly what I was going to suggest. A 1/2 cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar in the wash with your soap :D:D:D

It may foam up a bit, but it doesn't hurt a thing

that must be some perfume that lasts through a washing - yuck!! Sometimes when I get clothes at thrift shops I have to wash it just to get icky laundry smells out - fabric softener etc. I can't wear it unless it smells like MY laundry.

I can't use scents at all - get a monster headache when I have to be around 'scented people' So I am very glad you asked this question. I think vinegar and baking soda would have been my first choice, too, except that I couldn't have bought the clothing!!!
