No, it isn't close to Hoarders; the house is cluttered but not unclean, and she seems to have a system going for the most part (as much as any one of us could with that much fabric).

I think if her daughter would grow up and go back to her own home and family, and just have Grandma visit the kids there it wouldn't be that much of an issue. But no.

YES!!! What a whiner!

BUT...WOW, the cavalry has arrived! I'm so glad he brought in quilters. I feel much better now.

Thanks. It would annoy me if it was destroyed!

No No No there was NO room for anyone else in the living room...I don't think the daughter was a whinner - the woman has 14 grandkids who can't/don't come over to spend time.

I'm glad that other quilty ladies came in to help and that the 'out the door' pile was going to other chapters of QOV instead of a resale shop.

roseOfsharon 02-21-2011 05:44 PM

I am happy to see it cleared out and organized and shared the excess with other chapters of the Quilts for Valor!

missgigglewings 02-21-2011 05:46 PM

OH...QOV! Well...that's OK then!
