For quite a while, I wondered what people meant by 'my bad.' When I finally figured out what they were really saying, I waited for an opportune time and used it with my daughter. She hasn't said it in my hearing since. :lol: I guess it shocked her :shock: to hear her 'ancient' mom use a slang term!

Thank you. I have a sister that one-ups me all the time and this sounds like a good one, besides I love to learn how other people say things like "Yah, Sure, You Betcha" which is what we say here in Minnesota. It is totally equivalent to saying "Yes", but us Swedes here like to make more out of stuff than it really is!!!!! Get it? Got it? Good! (That's another one)!!!!! Edie |
