I have been asked to post some pictures,,so here you all are,,,

Have you ever been to the Condado Plaza Hotel? Mt DH travelled there a lot and just loved it. The coffee in the lobby and the ocean views from his room. Sadly I never got there, at least not yet.

My SIL is Puerto Rican. She loves NOT being in Puerto Rico, but enjoys visiting her family once in awhile. I think it is the heat that she doesn't like.

We were stationed at Roosevelt Roads for 3 years (when Hurr. Georges blew over) but always thought the west side of the island was prettiest! Seems like, even tho it was hot, there was always a breeze that helped so much. I always enjoyed being able to just stick a cutting of whatever in the ground and it would grow like crazy. It was a nice place to "visit" for a while, but we were sure glad to get home!

Can't see the pics, please post again. We stopped in Puerto Rico before a cruise one time. Didn't get to see much. Would love to see...

Beautiful pics and the sunset is gorgeous. You and Hubby make a very handsome couple. I thank all military for their service, includung our 22 yr. old Grandson.

That is a lovely family you have and you can tell the kiddos really had fun...but poor dad looks a bit tuckered out. :lol:
I have always wanted to go to Puerto Rico if anything just for the food (die hard foodie here)!!! I know it has some awesome coast lines and scenery. One of these days I will get over there....... Billy |
Billy, I always liked stopping on the side of the road and getting the pork/mystery meat skewers. A person or family would set up a grill and sell 5-6 big chunks on a skewer for about $1 - Yum!
