I'm having trouble with the size of my pictures. They are either too big and I get an email from Admin or they are too small and nobody can see them. What do you all use to upload your pictures so you can use them here? I've been using Photobucket, but I can't seem to get it right.

Any help is appreciated.

My program has an option to resize. I click on it and then reduce to 60%- 70% I believe.

Which program do you use?

If you attach images instead of embedding them, then the board resizes them automatically to the appropriate size.

I downloaded a free application direct from microsoft..thing its called powertoys Image resizer.

I right click on any image, window pops up with options of small, medium or large, click on small, new resized image is made.

Uploads and downloads in no time!!

This only applies if you are running on Windows of course

Does this mean ya'll will have to click on a link? Or does it show up as a picture?

I guess I'm still confused. I downloaded the resizer, changed the size of the picture. Now what do I do? How do I get it here?

Nope. There won't be any links.
Instead of using IMG tags, try adding file attachments when making a post.

Love your quilt. I see you "in hiding". Glad you figured it out. Don't we have a great QB admin. And moderators too - won't forget them.

Photo processing programs have resizing options. Photoshop also allows you to save for the web. A simple way is to go to the resize photo section in your program and change the size to 600 x 400 pixels - that would be OK for the web. Any dimension larger than 2,000 pixels on each side would be too large.

Here are all the pieces I have. I havn't figured out what to do with it yet, though there are a lot of ideas in this thread. If I sell it I'd have to sell all of the pieces together.
