Pillow Cases
1 Attachment(s)
My daughter in law loves homemade pillowcases, so I offered to make holiday pillowcases for her nursery school class...18 of them needed in a week and a half. Plus a throw pillow and finishing her Christmas wall quilt for her birthday. Well I got it done(sewing the binding on tonite!). I hate deadlines!
I did use a lot of leftover from other projects Christmas fabric. |
wow! you are a saint! What a neat idea for the pillow cases for her students, too.

Thanks for sharing, they are adorable ! I’m making pillowcases for our great grands for Christmas. I also make them and give them to child protection services to pack up belongings when removing children from unsafe situations. I like to sew with a #16 needle it sews through the heavy part successfully.

I love to make pillowcases for my grandkids and they like getting them, we have a camper, and the grandkids go with us a lot so I made the pillowcases with campers on them. Love yours and I am sure the kids will enjoy the ones you made for them. Thank you for sharing and Merry Christmas

They are wonderful, and your posting is timely for me because I'm trying to psych myself up to make 4 for my son and DIL. She is pregnant, and when they came at Thanksgiving they brought 4 extra pillows to prop her up to get her head elevated. Then they forgot the pillows. DH and I, too, like to bring our own pillows when we travel, and by accident I learned some years ago that using the brightest, most clash-with-everything fabric for them on road trips increases the chance that you'll see them when you look around the room for anything you might have forgotten. So I want to make them a set that will stick out like a sore thumb in case of future travels. Anyway, after reading your story, my 4 pillowcase project seems much more doable.
