Pillowcases

Last night, Justabitcrazy sent me instructions to make magic pillowcases. Then, guess what? My daughter called this morning and said her 6 year old wanted to come over and make a pillowcase for her baby sister. Can you believe it? She picked out the fabric (said it had to look like night time because bright colors makes it hard to fall asleep).....and we found picture instructions on the internet and it was done in no time....or should I say in her attention span time. Thanks for the idea, Crazy! Here is a pic of the finished pillowcase:

We call that pattern "the 15 minuet pillowcase", but it takes me just that long to set thing up...

What a thrill it must have been to sew with your granddaughter. She did a fantastic job in selecting just the right fabrics for her baby sister. Maybe she would like to make her mom & dad pillowcases for Christmas with your help. :thumbup:
