Pink & Blue

What's with the pink & blue envelopes? I know I can hover over them to see content, but what does the pink & blue mean?

I've been trying to figure that out myself. I have looked all over - at all the help pages, etc. and can't find an answer. We'll probably find out eventually.

WOW! I just saw that I am a Senior Member. It must have to do with total number of posts.

scroll to the bottom of the page. on the left is a key to the colors, etc

The pink means a hot topic...meaning that there are lots of posts to it. The grey envelopes mean there are unread posts in the thread. I think the blue means that all posts have been read.... I think. I know I saw the explanation somewhere but now can't seem to locate it.

At the bottom of the page is a key
The pink with the pages is a hot topic with unread posts
The pink with a closed envelope is a hot topic but all posts have been read
The blue with the pages are NOT hot topics but have unread posts
The blue with a closed envelope is where all the posts have been read
The little green arrow means you replied to that thread
