Well a pizza cutter in close to a rotary cutter. It was sweet that he could identify with your tools.

jprusky 07-24-2010 04:23 PM

How sweet. At least he knows that a rotary cutter looks like!

ggquilter 07-24-2010 05:48 PM

I used my old dull pizza cutter to mark straight quilting lines on my quilt. I was using a Hera marker and thinking how nice it would be if it rolled along and the ligh bulb went on. I tried the pizza cutter and it worked but I tested it first. There is no way it would have cut my fabric but I don't know how safe a new one would be.

ligia 07-24-2010 06:11 PM

I have one in my sewing room for this purpose :-D

What a sweetie thinking of you. My DH found a quilt book and a crochet book for me this week at a book sale for a $1 each. Gotta love him even though I already have the one book and the other is over 35 years old and totally out of date. We have keepers tho.

Bobbinchick 07-25-2010 08:41 PM

My sister is laid up with her back and has been for about a onth or more. Any way, her husband was trying so hard to fix her a nice meal and he fixed I think it was either toast or bisquits or some thing with gravey on it and he put a little red cherry on each one. Sis thought it was great. On pizza cutting,,,, I cut frozen pizza before I cook it and this way, you don't have all the melty cheese to deal with and the pizza is already sliced and no mess or trying to cut a hot pizza. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

How kind of him! Hang it up in your sewing area as a reminder of his thoughtfulness.
