If he is yours...please check out now and come collect what is left of him. Thank you

mrsponcho1 02-28-2014 12:30 PM

That would be my husband if he had to go with me fabric shopping...lol. He tells me to find someone else to go with and honey don't worry about how much you spend..lol.

NanaCsews2 02-28-2014 12:42 PM

Definitely Not mine. He is usually in the car sleeping. Music on soft, window open a crack, and hat pulled over the eyes. He volunteers to drive me to fabric shops and packs himself a little goodie care package to munch on if the car doors of the other customers keep him awake. He would never sit that long out in the open lest he should fall asleep with his mouth hanging open. Which he denies he does.

Sue Kitten 02-28-2014 12:49 PM

That is just too funny. I wish I could print this and hang it in my sewing room

dakotamaid 02-28-2014 12:50 PM

If it was mine there would be a magazine in his pocket and a tablet on his lap!!

nanna-up-north 02-28-2014 12:51 PM

Not mine. He won't go near a fabric shop.

toverly 02-28-2014 01:10 PM

She's still in there!

Onebyone 02-28-2014 01:24 PM

I won't go shopping with DH along. He gets on my nerves when I'm shopping even if sitting comfortably waiting for me.

Jingle 02-28-2014 02:38 PM

Not mine, I don't take him shopping with me. Makes us both happy.

SherriB 02-28-2014 05:43 PM

It will be my sweet hubby if I ever get to go to Mary Jo's fabric store!!!n LOL!!

celwood 03-01-2014 04:07 AM

Love it. Every time that I am going to LQS I will tell my husband and ask if he really wants to come with me. He always says yes and when we get there he will ask "will you be more than 5 minutes?". I ask him to sit in the car and take a nap

Mary O 03-01-2014 04:16 AM

Funny! We never shop together so I guess I'm stuck with him.......

elseebee 03-01-2014 04:19 AM

It's not mine, for sure! Mine is in the store, following me around, telling me- and all the other ladies in the shop- which fabrics go together. It can be real embarrassing sometimes (especially because he's usually better than any of us!). He tells everyone how many UFOs and fabrics I have at home. (When other ladies hear my stash fits in 3 plastic tubs they usually tell him I don't have a big stash). But, when it comes time to buy, he really says "get it all", so I guess he's a keeper!

lclang 03-01-2014 05:02 AM

Hmmm....could be mine, maybe. He usually sleeps in the car but he's not too picky so he might like a nice chair on a warm breezy day.

maryb119 03-01-2014 07:20 AM

LOL! This is why my DH does not go shopping with me!

scarlet14 03-01-2014 07:43 AM

Don't let mine go with me---the one time he did--at brand new large quilt store--he parked the car and said "This will only take about 15 minutes-right?"

Quiltyfish 03-01-2014 08:34 AM

It is for sure my husband as he has all the patience in the world.

JenniePenny 03-01-2014 09:01 AM

Oh, isn't he just a sweetheart?

toverly 03-01-2014 09:46 AM

Mine goes with me and at first offered suggestions and Oh, look at thats. I finally convinced him that he is breaking my line of thought and it would take longer if he talked to me. So he now "shops" on his own. He mostly ends up finding fabric that he wants made into a Hawaiian shirt.

roserips 03-01-2014 10:15 AM

I love it! But what of the husbands that quilt? I had one take a class and sent his wife and daughter of to the mall to shop. To me that is a very expensive day!

debbiemarie 03-01-2014 01:35 PM

I remember being a kid waiting for my Mom in the fabric store, OMG, they had a chalk board and most of the time were out of chalk. I can remember laying on the floor, climbing all over everything the staff must have really dreaded my Mom and her five kids walking into the store. hahaha I should have been more patient, I got a lot of gorgeous dresses made from that store!

w1613s 03-01-2014 03:21 PM

Not mine. We take the rv.

P

nygal 03-01-2014 03:25 PM

It's not mine either. But at least he looks like he died with a big smile on his face. lol

helenhiwater 03-01-2014 07:57 PM

Good thing the Joanne's here is right next door to Harbor Freight.

earthwalker 03-01-2014 09:02 PM

No way is that my fella....he is a total shopaholic...doesn't matter what kind of store, he will be in there shopping for "bargains". Every day he knocks of work, he shops, in the evenings he's on his computer, yep, shopping. He does all the food/household shopping, checks out charity shops, second hand shops, vegetable markets. He especially loves shopping for occasions, birthdays, christmas etc.

Zinda 03-02-2014 12:42 AM

I either leave mine at home or at a local bar. Keeps us both happy.

pasovasz 03-02-2014 04:57 AM

earthwalker, you have a Gem!

maryfrang 03-02-2014 06:08 AM

I worked in a LAQ and we had a husband that came in with his wife. He always brought his book or magazine with him and would find a chair and read until she was done. He never checked on her, but waited reading for her. I have to say, this is really a quilters husband and she is really blessed to have him. Of course she might behave the same way when he goes to the sports store.

You are so blessed! A husband like this, who respects and enjoys your interests, is beyond rubies!

pw6 03-02-2014 11:11 AM

LOL, needed that one.. love it... so many hubbys have been left there, but mine loves to go fabric shopping...

athomenow 03-02-2014 02:22 PM

I wouldn't say mine loves to go fabric shopping but if I ask him he will. He has a good eye for color (better than me sometimes) and he will help me pick things out. I also get a lot more when I take him because he will pile that cart full. If I protest he'll tell me it a good bargain and I should get more! Gotta love em! I don't take him to the grocery store very often because there he really is out of control.

kjdavis4 03-02-2014 03:47 PM

This is hilarious! When my two sons were still living at home, I loved to slow down and say, "I'm just going to run into the quilt shop really quick"! Just to hear the agonizing sighs and moans!! LOL The best thing that's happened to me in regard to shopping with hubby is smartphones. He can entertain himself for a long time with that while I'm in the fabric store. Shop On!!

Jackie R 03-02-2014 04:19 PM

That is really funny---- except I couldn't get my husband to even go to the fabric store - just as well because he'd keep saying, ready to go yet, ready to go yet.....

Phyllis nm 03-02-2014 05:20 PM

I just love it.

Country1 03-04-2014 10:29 AM

Funny! My DH loves to go to the fabric stores with me. They love it when he comes because he talks me into buying more!...
