Yes, that is what the local paper wrote about our upcoming weather ... we can expect a "plume of monsoonal moisture". I must admit that I love the English language and adore the fact that someone (the writer) would embrace such a wondrous description of "rain".

ha,ha. When i was young in Houston, the weatherman would always say a Norther was coming. cold front!!!

we had another rain storm yesterday here with hail too!!!

LOL out here in the PNW they can get creative too... it does sound nicer than rain, more rain, continual rain :wink: :D:D:D
