Preserving Mint Leaves

In the spring I put on a post asking for advice on preserving my mint for use in the winter. I got lots of great ideas including freezing the leaves and drying them. I've now dried some and I'm wondering if I can just put them in a glass jar with a lid and leave them like that. Will they keep ok as long as they are dry?? Thank you in advance.

i leave them in the kitchen year round hanging upside down.............i also ..since here are so many ..pick a bucket full blend them with water and put sround the house ...helps with pests ..i bet you could do that and freeze in icecube trays then take out a cube at a time for in tea or ???

Once completely dried they'll do fine in an airtight container. I'm drying some spearmint now. I'm just going to put them in a glass jar as well.

Glass jars are fine, just keep them out of the light to preserve the flavour.
