Did she deserve to go home? I think yes!

I agree.

I don't disagree, but I'm so over Joshua and his bullying and temper tantrums, that I was ready for him to go home.....

Joshua needs to leave....I can't stand him...I can understand him being upset over his Mom, but this is every week.

cattailsquilts 09-09-2011 01:13 PM

I haven't watched this week's episode yet, but have to agree with the comment on Josh's attitude.

Bert is just plain ornery, but I like his work (except for last week's teletubby costume...)

Me too. I'm also getting tired of Burt.

stitchinwitch 09-09-2011 01:39 PM

yes, she needed to go home. Joshua is a big drama ----- and I usually find something else to do when he attitude is showing. I like the girl who just learned how to sew - the way she talks too.

yes, her looks were kind of not really anything.

Joshua does need to leave. Burt could leave also.

JanetM 09-09-2011 01:53 PM

I love Anya. (I think that is her name) She is the woman who just recently learned to sew. She is sooo positive, never complains or groans about the challenges, and just has a delightful life affirming personality.
She can sew too. She has made some very nice and creative garments. I would be happy to see her win.

Oh for sure...At first I thought Burt was going to be a really cool guy...but that perception changed quickly....lolol However, I don't dislike Burt, and I totally dislike Joshua....

Anya I think, is a pretty cool lady, sews well, for not having sewn...I still haven't totally wrapped my head around that one....:), but none-the-less, she has constructed some nice outfits.....

I think Joshua is giving a black eye to Project Runway. He is just over the top drama. He overshadows a lot of the fun and talent in the show. I can't wait for him to be gone.

bnlmom 09-09-2011 05:58 PM

I wish Joshua was gone but my daughter knows him from high school and said that's just how he is.Doesn't change my mind,I still want him gone!

Greenheron 09-09-2011 06:56 PM

The producers edit these shows and slant situations and quotes to brighten or darken the designers appearances to stir up viewers. I'd prefer a show where the design process, fabric choices, sewing and the judging were given more prominence than the drama and the flouncing and cattiness.

I sort of like her. I'm just a wee bit suspicious of her "I just learned to sew" story...I don't know anyone who can sew what she's sewn after only a few months of sewing...

Josh is annoying.

But I am so sick of group challenges! Considering not watching it anymore.

stitchinwitch 09-10-2011 04:30 AM

It looks like on the next show, the challenge will be for..."real women"....(a size 10 instead of size 0)...I am still waiting for them to design for the AVERAGE woman - Sizes 14-18)That'll never happen tho. New York fashions are so "out there" compared to the fashions that are from "the farm" ------------Its fun to watch, but not realistic by any stretch of the imagination.

WHY do these producers insist in stirring up the drama on these shows - is that what the general viewers want to see?? I don't! Do YOU??

lheartsl 09-10-2011 04:38 AM

Yup think it was her time to go.....
Josh is something else!
And the old guy, don't even get me started on him!

FOR THE RATINGS
if the ratings are up there then
I would say that is what the viewers want.
It is a reality show after all.

They aren't looking at designers designing, they are looking for the Reality TV fight/arguments!!!!

That is why I DVR ALL episodes and just fast forward to the end to see finished garments!!!

Hoping Josh goes home this week!! Maybe he can go to Jersey Shores program instead??? Or new show Housewives of New York County??????? :?

There isn't such a thing as "reality shows" - they are actually "unscripted"

Me too.

Me three. I'd love to see what enables people like Christian Siriano and Chris March to produce couture looking garments while others, including most of this season's competitors, struggle to finish relatively basic garments in the same time frame.

I've wondered about that too. But whatever the case, she's produced some amazing designs.
