I'm soooo glad they finally dumped Olivier. He really got on my nerves!

tutt 09-25-2011 11:35 AM

I agree! He seriously needs to lose the fake accent also!

No kidding, didn't he grow up in ohio or something and only move overseas in his teens?

Poor baby, having to dress fat people who actually move around. So sad.

I was pretty happy to see Precious Moments go too. I was pretty sure he would be Aufed when his "model" rolled down his sleeves and they weren't finished and even if they had been finished they would have still been 4 inches too short.

Hopefully Clinique Counter goes soon too.

Not a chance, he's good TV and a decent seamstress to boot.

I have no favorites at this point. Anya is as close as I get, but as far as her design reach she's kind of like Uli without the skills.

I don't have a favorite this season either. I hope Anya makes it to the the final.

True! I hated the one sleeve dress!

That thing was a craft project caught in a lawn mower.

I really thought she would be gone. Her lack of sewing abilities is really showing.

Wow, never watched the show, but may have to look it up now...sounds like if nothing else....entertaining!

I watch it every year. They have the craziest challenges and I am always fascinated by the runway show. You would think that they would have seen the older shows and know that their behavior will be seen online.

loves_2_quilt 09-25-2011 02:42 PM

I love this show...some of the things they come with are pretty crazy..

np3 09-25-2011 02:55 PM

I try to imagine what I would make with each challenge. Then I compare my ideas to theirs and see how I would fare with them.

I don't have a fav either. I can't seem to care too much about any of them like I did in prior seasons. Either they're talented and an idiot or nice and not too talented!

Me too! He was so boring, I hated listening to him. And the way he carried himself...

mzsooz 09-25-2011 10:41 PM

Glad to see Oliver go also. It really isn't the best cast this season. If I have to pick a fav it would be Anya.

I think Joshua looks like Ben Affleck. Like Ben...dislike Joshua.

gmcsewer 09-26-2011 05:37 AM

I wish they would give them a little more design time before heading to Mood. Then we would get to see more stunning designs. But they all have been designing and producing before they get on the show so should have some ideas already in their heads. I do love the show.

cindit 09-26-2011 05:38 AM

I love this show - my husband hates it, of course. When I see these clothes, it seems like my opinion is the opposite of the judges. Of course, I'm from Iowa and they are fashion personified.

I thought Oliver's jacket a couple of weeks ago was really nice, but that is all he's produced in all these weeks.

Joshua has had some good designs, but what he creates isn't worth the drama he creates.

I do kind of like Anya. Her sewing skills are pretty bad, but, dang, I don't know if I could sew what she designs after 40 years of garment sewing. Like Michael Kors said, this isn't a "seamstress" challenge, it's a design challenge and she can learn better skills.

Abbie Jane 09-26-2011 07:18 AM

Completely agree about Oliver. My favorite is Viktor. Joshua has some good designs. However, his attitude is lousy and he's a bully.

lheartsl 09-26-2011 07:24 AM

i think there are a still "that need to go" left....

don't think I have a favorite either...

The older man gets on my nerves!

Bert is a challenge. I had high hopes for him in the beginning. He faded fast.

SherriB 09-26-2011 08:23 AM

I agree about Oliver leaving. He grated on my nerves every episode. I liked Bert in the beginning, but have really grown to dislike him. Something about his attitude that gets me. I adore Victor!! I hope he wins and doesn't get treated like Mondo did last season.

I am really looking forward to seeing Project Allstars in November.

Quilty-Louise 09-26-2011 08:39 AM

I think this is only my third season of watching PR.
So far like many of you I am not to impressed with the
program this year.

I agree that Oliver needed to go, IMO I think that Joshua
should also go due to his lack of sportsmanship, talk about
being a drama queen, he can teach a few "famous celebs" a
thing or two about how to pull it off. I do not like his
designs.

I commend Anya highly for her guts and courage for not only
winning a spot on PR for such a beginner, but for giving it
her all. There is NO WAY I would ever try to do what she has
done and I have been sewing for almost 20 yrs.

As for the rest of the PR designers they are ok, they all
have their good points and bad.

But like I said this is basically MY opinion and I am sure
you all know what is said about opinions.

np3 09-26-2011 08:46 AM

I'm not sure if the contestants aren't as good as precious years, or if the problem is the challenges. Way too many team challenges this time. We don't get to see their individual designs as much.

Glad Oliver is gone. Joshua is total Drama Queen, and I mean, "Queen". PR just doesn't have much in cast this year but it's entertaining. Love Tim Gunn. Anyone read his book?

fishhavengirl 09-26-2011 12:15 PM

And where did Oliver get that phony accent???? He said he was born in Ohio and lived in England. The British don't even sound like that!! He really annoyed me when he insulted Ewan saying he was bigger than the mannequin. Well, DUH!!

Abbie Jane 09-26-2011 12:26 PM

Oliver annoyed me for the same reason and he did the same thing last week when he was designing for a typical woman instead of a model.

Ewen was very gracious to even model those clothes when Oliver made him look so awful. At least Bert's outfit looked nice on him even if it wasn't the best look there.

So glad him and his fake accent are gone.

3incollege 09-26-2011 12:32 PM

Not the same as older seasons. I watch without the excitement that I used to have. I love that Christian is getting some exposure with Payless.

fishhavengirl 09-26-2011 12:55 PM

I can't wait to see Chris...."the McGiver of Fashion" LOL...should be interesting to see the costumes he's going to be making for the stars. I loved him when he was designing on Project Runway...he had a great laugh and I can't wait to hear it again.

luce321 09-26-2011 04:01 PM

Sherri, I watch the show all the time, never heard about Project Runaway All Stars. Please tell me what this is about. Thanks Lucy

Abbie Jane 09-27-2011 06:52 AM

Here are a couple of links to the all star show. I don't know the dates as I haven't found that yet. Heidi , Tim, Michael, and Nina won't be on this show. All new host, mentor, and judges.

Does anyone feel like me? To me the quality of people is so much weaker this year. Rather childish except Bert, and his just an old foogie. And I am enjoying the after show also. I enjoyed Models of the runway the year it was on.
Chris March has a new show on Bravo. It is over the top just like him. Not too bad tho'.

noahscats7 10-13-2011 02:47 PM

I think it starts the 1st week in Nov.
