Thank you Lynnie. Yes, I get asked all the time to sew them up. Some are even on my brother's charter fishing boat! All comes from living on a Island!

Love this technique! I had to look it up. There are even sites related to this centuries old practice. What was thought to be a way of recording fish size, is now an art form. You paint or "ink" the subject, normally, a flat object....leaves work great too, then you lay the fabric on the, in this case, fish and use a plastic roller....or press the fabric onto the fish. Immediate art. Centuries ago, and mostly like today...wooden images were carved so that you could make many prints of the same subject. I guess it is like being your own printing "press". What was old is new. So glad the practice continues.
