I switched to Garnier Nutrisse and love it. Better color, lasts longer, lesser damage.

I echo Shibori about Garnier Nutrisse except that I don't color any more. I let it go natural and who gives a hoot what others think about my hair. DH loves me as I am and not for what my hair color is so that's good enough for me.

Hey, what's wrong with orange (I'm a redhead)? But I know what you mean about the gray - it's sneaking in here too.

The last time that I dyed my hair it came out crayola red. Went to the hairdresser to have it fixed and have been going natural ever since. I did not want a repeat of that red--I am a brunette and not sure what it was that I did.

I use Loreal Feria because I'm getting grays in my hair. (I'm the same age as my mom when she got gray in her hair).

I'm entirely too young to go gray just yet. Not sure what to do when I am "ready" for the gray...

I have colored mine for years..just remember go a shade lighter...I have used the most expensive and the cheapest..not much difference...

Remember anything with ash don't use it gave my hair a greenish tint..the golden colors have red in them...I have dark brown hair and use medium golden brown..in summer I use light golden brown..My hair lightens up in the sun..

A very wise 93-year old woman whom I knew in New York once shared her secret of eternal youth with me. When I asked her what advice she could give me to help me stay as youthful as she appeared to be she replied, "Keep your hair brown and drink champagne!" I have to say that's probably some of the best advice I've ever received! Personally, I recommend Clairol Perfect 10. Do I use it? Only my hairdresser knows for sure... ;-)
